Using Knollwood Energy’s Pricing Page:

  • Our spot market prices have NO Fees, the price shown is the price you will receive.
  • SREC prices can change at any time.  Knollwood will pay you based on the price shown at the time you make the transfer.  So, please double check pricing at the time you do the transfer (refresh your browser).
  • Any prices marked indicative are not guaranteed and you need to contact us to arrange a contract and lock in a price.
  • Use the transfer instructions below appropriate for the state your facility is located in.
  • Pricing is good for up to 50 SREC’s.  If you’re interested in selling more please contact us.

  • Log onto GATS (top left corner.)
  • Look for Certificates, near the top middle of the screen.  Move your mouse over the word Certificate and then move down and click on REC Transfer.
  • A new screen will come up.
  • You will see Another Account Holder in bold and Select an Account Holder next to it.  Click/put a check mark in the white circle next to Another Account Holder.
  • Next to that, you will see where it says Select an Account Holder.  If this is your first transfer, then scroll down and select Knollwood Energy in the Select an Account Holder window (you can click on the letter “K” to make scrolling a little faster).   Otherwise, if this isn’t your first transfer you should see Knollwood Energy at the top of the drop down list.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Next.  A new screen will come up.
  • On the left side of the screen, click on the Select All RECs box.  If you don’t want to transfer all RECs, then Scroll down and put a check mark in the white box in the Select column.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Next.  Click OK when the Use Selected RECs question comes up.  A new screen will come up.
  • Find the price from the Knollwood energy price list or a price you received from us.
  • Enter the price next to Default Price (upper left side of the screen) and click the Go button right next to it.  Click on OK .  The price will fill in for each SREC.  Do NOT use the “$” or the “.”, just the digits.  If you need to put in different prices, then manually change them in the Price per Certificate column.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Next.  A new screen will come up.
  • This is the summary page.  You can double check that you are transferring the right number of RECs to Knollwood Energy.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Submit.
  • You are now finished and you will receive an email from GATS.
